nnounce at ISE 2024: Overcoming Obstacles with a Smile

In January, our nnounce team embarked on a journey to ISE 2024 in Barcelona, eager to unveil our latest innovation - the stylish gooseneck microphone station, micnode2g. This addition extended our touchscreen microphone station series, leading to the renaming of our micnode2 with a handheld microphone to micnode2h. 

ISE holds a special place in our hearts. It was at ISE 2023 that the nnounce brand was introduced to the world. This year, we returned not only with new devices but also with software upgrades, Q-SYS Ready certification for our current devices, and a growing network of agents and distributors from around the globe. 

The anticipation for our cutting-edge product, micnode2g, was evident. However, a customs glitch caused our sole micnode2g to be stuck at Barcelona Airport, tantalizingly close to ISE. In response, our resourceful team unveiled micnode2b, playfully nicknamed “the brick.” This unexpected twist not only brought smiles to our partners’ faces but also sparked curiosity among ISE attendees. Fortunately, our micnode2g was released just in time for the second half of ISE, much to our relief. 

Designed to be a stylish microphone station dedicated for desk use, the micnode2g is a testament to our focus on aesthetics and functionality. We’ve innovatively placed the inputs in the middle of the device, hiding cables and maintaining a sleek look. Our microphone stations from the micnode2 series have found their place in many industries. Their strength is particularly evident when connected with our Airport CX, enabling the playback of preconfigured boarding announcements. 

At ISE 2024, we talked to our attendees about different use cases for our devices, such as cruise ships, entertainment parks, universities, and more. These talks were inspiring, and we hope you felt the same. Now that we have our devices ready for your needs, we’re looking forward to deploying them for these specific use cases in real life.
